UKCF elections

Amicus nationally put out a newsletter, from which we reproduce parts below.

We expect elections to the company's UK Consultative Forum (UKCF) to be held shortly. Amicus had originally sent out a note to members in June, asking who was interested in standing, and have since been working with the PCS union (www.pcs.org.uk) to agree a set of candidates that both unions can support.

The newsletter included a list of potential candidates so far.

We hope as many employees as possible will support these candidates. You will notice that we have some gaps in the candidate list. If you're interested in standing, please get in touch. We would particularly welcome any female candidates (for obvious reasons).

You can find out more about the UKCF, the election and the candidates here: http://www.ourunion.org.uk/ukcf.htm.

Amicus launches survey of Fujitsu Services pay and benefits

Amicus nationally put out the following newsletter.

All Fujitsu Services employees (whether Amicus members or not) are invited to spend 5 minutes completing an anonymous survey of pay and benefits.

To take part, either:

a) Use a PC with Internet access, and go to http://www.ourunion.org.uk/paysurvey2004, or

b) If you can't get Internet access, please email us giving your name and postal address, to request a printed version of the survey

The more people complete the survey the more reliable the results will be. Why not pass on these details to your colleagues?
